Senior counsel elected RSE Fellow

Senior counsel, David Johnston, QC, who serves as a Scottish Law Commissioner, is among 56 new Fellows of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Mr Johnston was admitted to Faculty in 1992, and was Regius Professor of Civil Law, University of Cambridge and Fellow of Christ’s College from 1993 to 1999. He has been Honorary Professor, University of Edinburgh Law School, since 2000. He took Silk in 2005.
