SCJC reappointment for Silk

THE Lord President has welcomed the reappointment of Lynda Brabender, QC, to the Scottish Civil Justice Council.

Ms Brabender, Vice-Chair of the Advocates’ Family Law Association, will take up the three-year post on 28 September. She was first appointed as  an Advocate member of the Council in 2016.

Lord Carloway, Chair of the Council, said: “I am delighted that Lynda Brabender is continuing with the Council. She has already brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Council and its Family Law Committee.”
