Biography

Cameron was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates in 2020. He called to the Bar as the Lord Reid Scholar.

He was elected as Vice-President of the Junior Bar Association in 2022.

Cameron’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation. Cameron is regularly instructed in the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session in a wide variety of actions, principally in relation to reparation (both for pursuers and defenders), commercial dispute resolution and company law. Cameron further continues to develop a busy criminal law practice appearing in the High Court of Justiciary. Cameron also has experience in representing clients facing professional conduct proceedings and has been instructed on behalf of participants in Fatal Accident Inquiries.

Between 2015-16, Cameron assisted defence teams representing individuals facing appellate proceedings before the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), a United Nations court of law dealing with war crimes arising during the conflicts in the Balkans in the 1990s. Cameron holds an LLM awarded by the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. He has tutored in the Scots Law of Evidence.
