Roddy Dunlop, QC, becomes Faculty Treasurer

 

The newest Faculty office-bearer is Roddy Dunlop, QC, who has been elected to the post of Treasurer.

Mr Dunlop was admitted to Faculty in 1998 and took Silk in 2010. He has a wide and varied caseload, and has appeared at every level within the Scottish civil court system. 

The post of Treasurer became vacant on the appointment of Alan Summers, QC, as a Senator of the College of Justice. He had been Treasurer since 2012.

Mr Dunlop said: “I am delighted and honoured to be appointed Faculty Treasurer, a post in which I have an illustrious series of predecessors, and I hope to continue the good work of Alan Summers.”
