Princes St Gardens role for counsel

THE Faculty’s John Campbell, QC, has been appointed to a senior role in the redevelopment of West Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh.

Mr Campbell is the new chairman of The Ross Development Trust, which is working with Edinburgh City Council to transform the gardens under the name of the “Quaich Project”.

He said: “I recognise my responsibility in ensuring the gardens remain as treasured and relevant to future generations as they are today. The project is about making one of the finest urban spaces in Western Europe even better.”
