Biography

Alan Innes’s practice is primarily focused on property disputes, including matters involving commercial leases, boundary issues, development land, rural properties and energy projects.  He is ranked as a leading junior counsel for Property, Planning & Construction in the latest edition of The Legal 500: “He has deep knowledge of property litigation. Alan has substantial experience of telecommunications cases and the Electronic Communications Code, plus experience in planning and environmental matters, valuation for rating, commercial litigation, financial services disputes and contentious trust and executry matters.

In addition to appearing in courts and tribunals, Alan is also experienced in arbitration (particularly in relation to commercial property disputes).
