Biography

Amelia specialises in commercial law and intellectual property law.

Prior to calling to the Bar in 2024, Amelia trained at an international commercial law firm. There, she gained experience in large and complex commercial disputes, commercial land & property disputes and insurance & reinsurance matters.  

During devilling, Amelia built upon that experience and developed a particular interest in intellectual property law, including patent infringement and intellectual property licensing. She also gained experience in professional liability, clinical negligence and public law. She worked with her Devilmasters on disputes in the Sheriff Court, Sheriff Appeal Court, Court of Session Outer House and Court of Session Inner House.
