Biography
Callum called to the bar as a Lord Hope scholar in 2021.
As a solicitor, Callum trained at a personal injury practice before spending 5 years at a leading criminal defence firm in Glasgow. Callum has acted for clients funded speculatively, by insurers, privately, and via the Scottish Legal Aid Board.
Callum has appeared in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. He regularly instructed Counsel in the Court of Session and High Court.
He has experience of cases involving murder, sexual offences, misuse of drugs, financial crimes, firearms, and under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
He was part of a team representing a core participant at the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry.
Callum has been appearing in the Employment Tribunal since he was a member of the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic during his studies. He has also appeared in the Mental Health Tribunal and before the Traffic Commissioner for Scotland.
