Biography

Frank Burr’s practice focuses mainly on family and property law, and he is particularly interested in where the two areas overlap. In addition he is regularly instructed in most civil matters.

Having been a solicitor for many years prior to coming to the Bar, Frank is acutely aware of what a solicitor expects from Counsel, and he strives to respond to instructions quickly and accurately.

In addition to his practice at the Bar, Frank also provides seminars and talks. He has taught law at universities, and currently sits on the Law School Advisory Panel at the University of Stirling. Frank has also recently qualified as a Family Law Arbitrator, and is a member of the Family Law Arbitration Group Scotland (FLAGs).

Instructions are welcome through Frank’s clerks at Arnot Manderson, or direct by telephone or email.
