Biography
Eilish was a solicitor for a number of years prior to calling to the Bar in 2023. Since calling, she is regularly instructed in both crime and personal injury matters.
As a solicitor, she dealt with a variety of personal injury and regulatory cases. She was involved in Fatal Accident Inquiries and Public Inquiries. She appeared on a regular basis in the All Scotland Personal Injury Court.
Since calling to the Bar, Eilish has been instructed on behalf of the defence in a range of criminal matters, including murder; attempted murder; terrorism; rape and serious sexual assaults; offences in contravention of the Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Act 2018; offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971; and offences in contravention of Children and Young Persons (Scotland) Act 1937. She regularly conducts trials in both the Sheriff and High Court and appears in the Criminal Appeal Court.
