Biography

Geoffrey is an experienced litigator, with considerable experience in oral advocacy (at first instance and appellate level), public and local inquiries, regulatory work and public law.

He called to the Bar in 1992.  He took silk in 2009.  Between 2001 and 2005 he was an Advocate Depute and Senior Advocate Depute (criminal High Court prosecutor). 

He is currently acting as lead Senior Counsel for the Scottish Ministers in the Covid-19 Public Inquiries.
