Biography

Since calling to the Bar in 2013, Jenny has acted for both pursuers and defenders in a wide range of litigation including several high level and complex personal injury, clinical negligence and commercial actions at the Court of Session and in the sheriff court, and she has also acted for petitioners and respondents in petitions for judicial review.

Prior to calling to the Bar in 2013, she was an Associate at a large Commercial firm in Edinburgh and is familiar with complex contractual disputes. As a solicitor she represented agencies of the Scottish Government to protect their interests at Fatal Accident Inquiries. She has experience in working on several high profile fraud actions raised and defended by significant banking clients. Jenny is a member of the Reparation Sub-Committee of the Faculty of Advocates' Law Reform Committee.
