Biography

Shaun called to the bar in 2024 and specialises in public law, personal injury, and criminal defence. 

As a solicitor, Shaun litigated a wide range of public and welfare law matters.  He acted for individuals, interest groups, and public bodies.  As well as working in private practice, he spent time in-house in the public sector and as a law clerk to a senior judge. 

During devilling, he consolidated his experience in public law, focusing on housing, prisons, and social work, often featuring equality and human rights issues.  He gained exposure to a broad range of personal injury matters, including clinical negligence.  He also undertook an extended period of criminal devilling, focused on domestic abuse and sexual offences.
