Derek Ogg, QC, honoured at Equality Network awards

Senior counsel, Derek Ogg, QC, has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Equality Network’s inaugural Scottish Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) Awards.

Scott Cuthbertson, Development Co-ordinator for the Equality Network, announced the award to Mr Ogg at a ceremony in Glasgow.

He said: “Our Lifetime Achievement Award has been awarded to Derek Ogg, QC, for his numerous accomplishments in the field of LGBTI equality over many years, and in particular his work on the decriminalisation of sex between men in Scotland, which took place thirty-five years ago this year.”
