Human rights group Liberty to have new Director

Shami Chakrabarti, who is to reflect on a life of campaigning at a Faculty-hosted event next week, has announced she is leaving the human rights group, Liberty, but will remain in post until her successor is found.

The event on Friday, 22 January, is the second of JUSTICE Scotland’s “Beyond Law” series, as part of the Securing JUSTICE at 60 Appeal.
