Process begins to appoint Lord Justice Clerk

 

A selection panel has been set up by the First Minister to make recommendations for the vacant post of Lord Justice Clerk.

The four panel members are: Lord Carloway, the Lord President, Sir Muir Russell and Alison Mitchell, both of the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland, and Lady Stacey.

The post has been advertised, and applications should be submitted by Sunday, 7 February.
