Walking off the festive excesses

 

Staff are putting their best foot forward as they clock up the miles in the first Faculty Pedometer Challenge.

Nine teams of six have started the eight-week challenge, with gift vouchers going to the three teams which cover the greatest distances.

Julie Fitzpatrick, HR Manager, said: “I think people feel a little bit flat in January and the idea is to give them a focus and an incentive to try to get out for a bit of fresh air at lunchtime when you are perhaps not feeling like it.

“It’s great that so many people have clipped on their pedometers and it’ll be interesting to see just how far they walk.”
