Young lawyers learning from the experts

Leading lights of the criminal Bar will be sharing experience and expertise with the next generation of lawyers at a special conference.
The event by the Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association is in conjunction with the Scottish Criminal Bar Association, whose President, Thomas Ross, and Vice-President, Claire Mitchell, will chair proceedings and give talks.
Other speakers are Brian McConnachie, QC, John Scullion, QC, Frances McMenamin, QC, Susan Duff and Tony Lenehan. The subjects covered will include advocacy skills, the Moorov doctrine and vulnerable witnesses.
The “Criminal Day Conference” is on Saturday, 5 November, at the Hilton Grosvenor, Grosvenor Street, Haymarket, Edinburgh.
