The legal profession has failed working women: Discuss
21 Feb
The first debate to be staged by Women in Law Scotland will be held on International Women’s Day and will feature the Faculty’s Ximena Vengoechea among the speakers.
The event, on Wednesday, 8 March, at 5:45pm in the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow, Nelson Mandela Place, Glasgow, is being chaired by Christine McLintock, past president of the Law Society of Scotland.
Adopting the campaign theme for International Women’s Day, #BeBoldForChange, the motion for debate is: “This house believes the legal profession has failed working women.”
