New Chairman for SCLR
12 Jun
The Scottish Council of Law Reporting (SCLR) has appointed Kenneth Campbell, QC, as its new Chairman.
Mr Campbell steps up after three years as Vice-Chairman of SCLR, publishers of Session Cases, the most authoritative Scottish law reports. It also hosts the annual Macfadyen Lecture, given by a senior judge, and supports work to make Scottish legal sources more widely available.
He said: "It is an honour and a responsibility to follow Jamie Millar, and other distinguished past leaders of the Council. I have been closely involved in extending the range of older 'hard to find' material which the Council has made available via BAIILI and other databases, and I look forward to continuing the Council's work in making legal information as widely available as possible."
