Recognised for “helping people escape persecution”

 

IMMIGRATION and asylum law specialist, Stephen Winter, Advocate, has been given the accolade of Lawyer of the Week in the Law Section of The Times Scotland.

Mr Winter represented an Afghan-born man who won a Court of Session ruling for an in-country appeal against a refusal of leave to remain on the basis that his partner was a British woman.
