All things affidavit in spotlight at family law seminar

 

Experts in family law will take a comprehensive look at affidavits at an all-day seminar.

The event is being staged by the Advocates’ Family Law Association (AFLA) and the Family Law Association, on Monday, 8 May, in Dundee.

As well as a series of workshops, talks will be given on the use of affidavits and how best to approach drafting them; case law relating to affidavits; and the practicalities of using affidavits as evidence in chief and in cross-examination.

The speakers and workshop leaders are all advocates practising in the area of family law: Janys Scott, QC, Kate Dowdalls, QC, Lynda Brabender, Kirsty Malcolm, Nicola Gilchrist, Julianna Cartwright, Scott McAlpine and Ceit-Anna MacLeod.
