THE Faculty’s Laurence Kennedy has been admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Mr Kennedy was a court solicitor for five years before calling to the Bar in 2000, where he has enjoyed a broad civil practice and has particular experience in media and licensing law.

He also serves as a part-time judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber, and undertook a two-year secondment as an immigration judge.

CIArb describes its fellowship as “a high-level Diploma qualification that is designed for experienced dispute resolution practitioners seeking international recognition for their skills.”
