MEMBERS of Faculty are to share expertise in immigration law at a masterclass conference in the autumn.

The event will feature Roddy McIlvride, QC, Joe Bryce and Alan Caskie among the speakers, while Lord Burns is to deliver the keynote address. Delegates will also hear from counsel at the English Bar and practitioners from immigration firms throughout Scotland.

The event, chaired by Bilaal Shabbir, accredited paralegal, and held in the Faculty’s Mackenzie Building on Friday, 7 September, is designed to provide useful, practical guidance and expert insights into new developments in the law and legal practice.

Free proceeds from the conference are to be donated to the World Care Foundation, a humanitarian and refugee charity.
