Counsel appointed summary sheriff

THE Faculty’s Paul Brown is among six appointments as summary sheriffs, announced by the Judicial Office for Scotland.
Mr Brown was admitted to the Scottish Bar in 2009, and was appointed as an Advocate-Depute in 2015. In Crown Office, he has worked in the National Sex Crimes Unit and in the prosecution of Serious and Organised Crime.
He will sit as a summary sheriff in Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Other appointments are: Valerie Mays (Glasgow Sheriff Court), Lindsey (McPhie) Kooner (Paisley Sheriff Court), Liam Murphy (Sheriffdom of South Strathclyde, Dumfries and Galloway), Keith O’Mahony (Perth Sheriff Court) and Ian Wallace (Aberdeen Sheriff Court).
