Seven advocates appointed QC

SEVEN members of Faculty have been appointed Queen’s Counsel, bringing to 130 the number of practising seniors at the Bar.
The appointments announced by the Judicial Office for Scotland are: Andrew Webster, Bruce Erroch, Una Doherty, Vinit Khurana, Ronaldo Renucci, Jane Farquharson and Ruth Innes, with two solicitor-advocates, James Cormack and Richard Goddard.
Practising membership of the Faculty stands at 435.
The new silks will be welcomed by Lord Carloway, the Lord President, at a ceremony in the First Division courtroom to mark the start of the winter term on Monday, 24 September.
