Defamation under the spotlight

TWO of the Faculty’s leading media law practitioners are joining a prominent television journalist to discuss defamation.

Roddy Dunlop, QC, and Kenny McBrearty, QC, will team up with Mark Daly, an investigative correspondent at the BBC, at the free event in the Faculty’s Mackenzie Building, from 6pm on Thursday, 21 November.

The Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association has worked with Axiom Advocates to present the conference and “a chance to hear not only about the law but also to gain an understanding of how the law is experienced by those in the media industry.”
