New sheriffs named

THREE members of Faculty have been appointed as sheriffs.

Kenneth Campbell, QC, Gordon Lamont and Robert Frazer are among 11 new sheriffs and three summary sheriffs announced by the Judiciary of Scotland.

Mr Campbell will sit in Edinburgh, Mr Lamont in Stornoway/Lochmaddy and Mr Frazer in Inverness.
