QC’s SLAB reappointment

THE Faculty’s David Sheldon, QC, has started a second term as a member of the Scottish Legal Aid Board.

Mr Sheldon was appointed to the part-time position for three years in 2017 and his re-appointment will run for four years, until 30 September, 2024.

Mr Sheldon was a lecturer in law at Edinburgh University and Associate Dean of the School of Law before being admitted to Faculty in 1998. He took Silk in 2013. He is the author of a number of legal textbooks and has contributed to works including Court of Session Practice and the Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia.
