Visitors discovering the "Hidden Gem"

21 Aug

More than 1,000 visitors have already taken the chance, and others will be able to discover "Parliament House, The Hidden Gem" over the coming weeks.

An exhibition detailing the history, traditions and work of Scotland's Supreme Courts has been running in Parliament Hall, or Venue 402, during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Two of the panels in the exhibition are devoted to the Faculty in recognition of its "central place" in the building down the centuries. Also on display are examples of historical books held in the Advocates Library, and the Dean's baton and the Faculty bugle.

The exhibition will be open Monday to Friday, 10:30 to 16:00, until 25 September, and on Doors Open Day on Saturday, 26 September.
