Faculty aiming to bring Xmas cheer to vulnerable families

03 Dec

The Faculty’s Laigh Hall will become a Santa’s Grotto, as members and staff look to make it a memorable Christmas for vulnerable families in Fife.

Donations of presents and Xmas treats are being taken during the week 7-12 December, and will be stored in the Laigh Hall before being transported across the Forth for distribution by the family support charity, Home-Start Glenrothes.

The collection has been organised by Maria Maguire, QC, who said: “Children of vulnerable families will not be having much of a Christmas without donations of presents and treats, and there are a lot of mothers who will not receive anything either, unless we can arrange for something for them, too.

“Home-Start Glenrothes are so grateful to be able to make a big difference this year with our help.  With the generosity of members and staff, we plan to make Christmas as wonderful as we can for these families.”
