Counsel lined up for SYLA events

 

MEMBERS of Faculty have been recruited by the Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association for a triple bill of events.

On 21 September in Glasgow, David Swanney and David Hay will be speakers on employment law, while the Faculty’s Director of Training and Education, Dr David Parratt, QC, is to take a pleadings workshop on 27 September in Edinburgh. It has already sold out with proceeds going to the Lawscot Foundation charity.

Then, the SYLA’s annual conference, Progression in the Profession: Towards 2025, on 7 October in Glasgow will hear a keynote address from Claire Mitchell, President of the Scottish Criminal Bar Association.
